Our Story
Founded in 2018 as Save the Family Farms, our mission has always been clear: protect independent, family-owned wineries from being squeezed out of the industry they helped build. In 2026, we stepped forward with a sharper identity — the Micro Winery Guild.
MWG is the only wine industry organization built by small producers, for small producers. A roundtable of thought leaders, active participants, and collaborators, all producing under 5,000 cases annually — and deeply committed to doing it right.
